Critical Thinking Blog #2

The show I used that shows science is the show Breaking Bad. the show uses chemistry throughout the whole show for making money. the main character Walter White uses his knowledge in chemistry to cook the meth drug to make money for his family while he battles cancer. I believe that the show needs to dumb it down for the audiences to some what be able to follow along with the show. shows like the Big Bang Theory doesn't dumb it down. I love the show but on many occasion I am not able to understand the language in which Lenard and Sheldon talk in. they are physicists that go about they everyday life while Lenard tries and woo his romantic interest Penny. these shows don't pose any threat in my mind but I find it kind of of cool how a chemistry teacher could leave his teaching career to become one of the biggest and best drug lord in the state of Arizona.  I think that people my age would agree or at least everyone who watches the show. if they didn't feel the same way I do then why would you watch the show? I believe that the reason the show is so popular because it uses science to commit crime. I also think that science is always going to be interesting along as you add a storyline. I think as generations come and go people are leaving the science books and want to see or experience science up close and personal. people will like to relate to science which would make it more interesting to them.
